About the Blog
Brunette and Pink is the pen name I came up while freelance writing about beauty and fashion. I decided to pour the energy and enthusiasm into my own blog, and Brunette and Pink was born. Brunette and Pink reflects my view on beauty, fashion and life. You will find video tutorials, beauty and style tips and tricks, product reviews, fashion and makeup trends, how-to’s and solutions. While I love and use many traditional and classic brands, some which have been showcased on Brunette and Pink, it is my desire to focus on highlighting niche, independent beauty brands as well as organic and natural products. I intend to take a similar approach with fashion and focus to showcase independent designs and inspirations.
About the Author
Throughout the years, I have realized that the ultimate beauty comes from within – drawn from daily struggles and challenges which only makes us stronger. Oh, and did I tell you once you reach your thirties, out of nowhere skin sags, laugh lines appear, and butts droop? You come to the quick realization there are many other things to do in order to remain fabulous: eating well, excercising, anti-wrinkle creams, etc… It has taken me all these years to feel comfortable in my own skin. Do I have insecurities? YES! Are there days where I feel ugly? ABSOLUTELY! Am I always wearing cool stuff? HECK NO! There are days where stretchy waistbands are my best friend. However, I have engraved in my mind to not give up!

Additionally, and although in its early innings, Brunette Confessions is another chapter of Brunette and Pink to touch on subjects other than beauty – and it is cheaper than therapy! Oh yeah, and expect my cat Shadow, to have a few episodes of his own here and there.
