I am a recent convert to CoverGirl LashBlast – although I have to be honest and I can’t decide if I like this mascara better than my Rimmel Sexy Curves (I <3 it!). I bought LashBlast after running out of Rimmel’s and I must say, I am quite pleased with it – good volume, no clumps, can’t complain.
Although I am a va-va-voom volume brunette when it comes to lashes, there are days when I want a simple and clean look, sort of a wash n’go kind of look (this rarely happens!). Anyway, I thought I would give the new CoverGirl LashBlast length a try. So I hopped over to my local CVS and picked it up – on sale – and off I went.
After having used it for over three weeks, I am quite happy with it. Overall, CoverGirl LashBlast length is a great lengthening mascara. I like the length of the brush and the formula. The brush in this mascara is actually pretty good at de-clumping what other mascaras leave behind. I like to apply one coat of volumizing mascara followed by one coat of lengthening mascara, and LashBlast Length does the trick seamlessly. There were no clumps and it holds the curl (although my lashes already have a little bit of curl). The other thing I like about this mascara is that it does not make my eyes burn – Maybelline Great Lash does this to me – I DESPISE that mascara! I was also impressed at how it stayed on my eyes after a 5-mile run considering it is not waterproof.
