Last night, we decided to go out for a stroll around the neighborhood. Here is a picture with my new boyfriend – he melts when he sees me (sorry, I had to do it!). It was cold but not as cold as the day before. Since it wasn’t as cold, I thought I would be able to get away with wearing leggings over tights for warmth, as well as piling on the layers. I had forgotten I had recently purchased this sweater dress from Banana Republic – perfect time to wear it! Top the whole thing with a chunky circle scarf and I am ready for the cold – c’mon, bring it!
I got to open a present on Christmas Eve – yay! I asked Santa for a desktop photo studio (=D), which will allow me to take better pictures of my dishes for my food blog, T’s Tasty Bits, as well as of all the fun makeup stuff that I plan to buy in the future. Since I was nice, Santa #1 (my kid sister) delivered! One of the cool things this photo studio comes with is a small tripod, which will also come handy when filming makeup tutorials – let’s get excited! This morning, Santa #2 (the Mr.) gave me a new gadget to make videos and a whole lotta other cool stuff: a brand new MAC! Eeeee! I’ve been dying for one, and Santa #2 surprised me with one. I am writing this post from my new MAC.
Today, we decided to take it easy, and went to grab Christmas dinner at the Sunflower Dinner on 28th and 3rd in NYC. Since it is just the two of us for Christmas this year, there was no better way to do it. I don’t think I could’ve been able to make a full turkey and stuffing dinner for less than what we paid for. Besides, it was delicious! AND, there was no clean-up to do!
