Look #2: This one is called Classic Pretty, which in my book is a timeless trend. This look is a GREAT work look! The color palette is quite neutral. For the eyes, this look calls for shades of browns and greys. Shimmery or matte – it’s your call! For this particular look, I used a combination of both: matte browns and a bit of shimmer for the highlight. The cheeks are flushed with peach or pink tones. Since your eyes are neutral, you can choose either neutral/nude pinks for the lips, or go all out with a punch of color, like corals, poppy or even a fuscia! Use just lipgloss to keep it fresh, or go for a lipstick/gloss combo for a longer lasting effect. What other colors come to mind when you think “Classic Pretty”? Spring, here we come!
Oh yeah, there is a video.
Products used
Eyes:
- Milani Runway Eyes pallette in Ready to Wear, which I’ve reviewed in the past. I used the matte brown shade, the shimmery copper and the butter/champage shade. I used the darkest shade – a taupe/grey shadow wet as a liner on my top lash and the outer corner of the eye.
- Cover Girl Lash Blast Length – another favorite; two coats on the top lashes
Cheeks:
- Jane Be Pure Minerals blush in Rose Silk – one of my new favorites; a pinky rose, that leans towards the matte side
Lips
- Rimmel Lipstick in Airy Fairy – a nude pink
- Korres Cherry Lipgloss in Light Pink – a milky pale pink
